A Family Story in Swedish Wool

Wool from sheep on the Swedish west coast
On the west coast of Halland, where sea winds meet open meadows, the sheep graze at Ullarps Gård outside Falkenberg. The Henriksson family has run the farm since the 1990s, and today around 500 ewes have contributed wool to our Swedish wool pieces. The sheep are shorn twice a year, in July and December, followed by lambing in January and February. Ullarps Gård is one of six farms that have contributed to the wool in this collection – all gathered through Västkustens Ullinsamling, with full traceability down to the individual farms. This is wool with character, warmth and origin. A natural material that feels alive, timeless and close – from Swedish nature to finished design by Jumperfabriken.

Our story in Swedish wool continues. Following the launch of Alida Cardigan, we now introduce more cable-knit pieces in 100% traceable Swedish wool – for women, men and children. The wool comes from sheep on farms in Halland and is transformed into timeless pieces with a soft feel, classic texture and long-lasting quality. A small collection made to be worn close, to keep you warm on cooler days and to stay with you through life.

A natural material made to last
Wool is a remarkable natural material. It helps regulate body temperature, keeps you warm when it is cold and transports moisture away from the body. With the right care, wool garments can last for many years.
Wool rarely needs washing. Often, airing the garment outdoors is enough. When washing is needed, we recommend hand washing at a maximum of 30°C with wool detergent.
